The Organic Chemistry Division of the French Chemical Society is pleased to announce that the Journées de Chimie Organique 2019 (JCO2019) will be held at the École polytechnique (Palaiseau, France)
from Tuesday, 29 october to Thursday, 31 october 2019.
The Journées de Chimie Organique 2019 (JCO2019) will be held
from Tuesday, 29 to Thursday 31 October 2019
at École polytechnique, Palaiseau, France.
The scientific event that occurs every 3 years, is organized by the Organic Chemistry Division of the French Chemical Society. It is the main opportunity for a national gathering for the organic chemists community.
On that occasion, we will welcome an international panel of 14 prestigious speakers from academia and industry. The winners of the prestigious awards from the Organic Chemistry Division will be also honored.
Many oral communications will be presented by young researchers and selected in various fields such:
- new methods in organic synthesis,
- total synthesis of natural products,
- sustainable chemistry,
- medicinal chemistry,
- bio-organic chemistry,
- chemical biology,
- supramolecular chemistry,
- application to energy and materials science.
Two poster sessions will be organized.
We encourage all the participants to present a poster, even for those who will be selected for oral communications, to foster scientific interactions. We remain also committed to a strong, resilient chemical society, to our mutual benefit. To this end, we provide special rates for group registration of SCF members.
Please visit our website regularly as further information will be added. We are looking forward to seeing you at the JCO!
